.revival.

Hey people! Look who's back! Yeah, finally decided to revive my blog after such a long period of time. Wonder if anybody is still reading tis dusty blog of mine. Well doesn't really matter who's reading since i'm blogging to keep track of my thoughts.

It's been a really long while indeed. Looking back at my previous entry, it was half a year back. Time really flies man! Another 2 years and i'll be graduating from Uni. Scary! But life has to go on irregardless of whether i like to take a step into the working world or not. In the meantime, i'll try my best to enjoy my schooling days while they last.

Having my school holidays now. First 5 weeks was taken up by EID, some design and innovation project which every year 2 Engineers hafta go thru. Surprisingly, my grp manage to grab 3rd prize in our category. My grp was really fun since we played as hard as we worked. Thanks to Jason for making everything seem so easy, the best leader you can get!

After that was Camp Outreach, where i helped out as a volunteer. It was a really interesting and meaningful camp since i get to interact with deaf people. I learnt a little bit of hand signs through the camp but still wasn't good enough to make a full conversation with some of them. They were really nice and understanding people since they try to read your lips as to what you are trying to say or even write down on paper wat they wanted to convey, even if you don't really know how to sign. I did feel bad that i didn't really put in effort to learn how to sign, i was more laid back. So i guess i wasn't of much help there actually, but i really did learn alot thru tis camp.

Volunteering is really meaningful, especially when you are able to help the people around you who are less fortunate or are disabled etc. It gives you a sense of satisfaction and lets you know how fortunate you are. And bcauz of that, i think i shouldn't complain so much and take things for granted. However, the happiest thing that i got out of tis camp, is that i FINALLY managed to get out of the country, even though it's just Malaysia. I've been wanting to go somewhere, in fact anywhere but stay in Singapore. That was how bad i wanted to travel.

So what's next? Well i have a holiday trip coming up and i really can't wait for it to come. I'll be heading to Taipei and Hong Kong tis coming Thurs. I've been wanting to go to Taipei for a very long time and finally i have tis chance. Though it's not many days, i think i'll just make the best out of it and explore as much as i can. Hopefully can do some shopping as well to get more clothes. But the main attraction will be the 小吃 over there. Just the thought of it makes me wanna drool. Alright, shall end here for today, don't wanna drown you people with such a long entry.
