Review
It was really a memorable night, as far as i'm concerned. I was totally blown away & absolutely mesmerised by her voice, for tht 2 short hours. You could see her passion in singing her songs, closing her eyes every now & then, with her arms spreading out wide, losing herself in music. It was like she was in her own world, without us, audience, watching her. She swayed along with music, prancing in watever way she wanted, instd of having her dance moves choreographed. It was natural, as compared 2 most singers. Though it's a little boring, i must admit, but her voice absolutely made up for it.

Tht clarity in her voice, totally amazed me tht night. Closing my eyes for a short while in between songs, i cld imagine myself listening 2 her like as if it was as clear as tht on a CD. It was even better in fact. I was so afraid tht she wld be giving a sloppy performance, since Singapore doesn't really hve tht huge a fan base. But apparently, i was wrong. It was such a brilliant performance tht i was or am craving for more, up to this moment in time. I really can't wait for her nxt concert in Singapore, i even hve sudden urge 2 travel overseas for her concert, though i knw it's quite impossible for time being.

It was really tht good tht i cldn't take it off my mind till now. Even songs tht i didn't really like initially, after her singing it live, i thought tht these songs weren't really tht bad, it was pretty nice actually. For eg. Liu2 Lang4 De4 Hong2 Wu3 Xie2 & Xiang1 Nai4 Er3 etc. There were also classic songs tht i really really really love, up to this point in time & fact tht she sang it live, made me love it even more. For eg. Tian1 Shi3, song which made me like her right frm beginning. Tian1 Kong1 is another one of them. In addition to tht, tis concert made me like her canto songs as well, esp those tht were way back. Though i didn't quite understood wat songs meant, tune & her singing made me like it nevertheless. I guess tht's why she was so popular in Hong Kong, it was her endless hits of canto songs.

I really didn't knw wat 2 expect for her concert initially, since i've never been 2 any concerts or any of her concerts 2 be more exact. Mayb tht's why i was so impressed or amazed. But truthfully, part of my amazement was becauz of 1st 3 songs tht she sang. It was 3 songs tht i really really really really really like alot, which are Tian1 Kong1, Yang2 Bao3 & Tian1 Shi3. beginning of tis concert wth these 3 songs already made my day as well as 2 like tis concert, even before singing rest of her songs. I know it sounds a little bit exaggerating, but you peeps have gotta pardon a fan of hers for being like tht. It's really a once in a lifetime thingy, at least 2 me, for being able 2 attend an idol's concert.

Nevertheless, there were some disappointment in her concert. First of all, it's her costumes i suppose. They weren't really tht fantastic as compared 2 her Hong Kong concert earlier tis yr. It was much more simple & most of them were reused frm her previous concert in Malaysia & Shanghai. Another thing is interaction with audience. I felt tht she cld really hve spoken much more instd of 2 sentences for entire concert. Let us know how you feel, let us know some of things tht are going thru yr mind right now. We, as fans, totally adore you, so do give us some credit for tht by speaking more. Is tht really too much to ask for? Sigh......tht's something abt my idol tht i've gotta respect & can do nothing abt. Sometimes, i really wish she cld be more like other singers who tend 2 speak more etc. But at othr times, i rather she be herself, cauz it's something unique. Contradicting huh?

Another thing tht i've gotta respect as well, is her persistence in not giving an encore, unless she's really in mood & very high. At end of her concert, i was sitting there, looking at response of her fans. I thought to myself tht she's not gonna give any encore but i still sat there, expecting a miracle 2 happen. Perhaps i was craving for more, so much so tht i wish concert didn't end tht early. There was a moment during concert, where a video was being played 2 thank her crew & band members. I thought it was all over by then & was pretty shocked by such an abrupt ending. However, it wasn't case & she came out 2 do her thing. I heaved a sign of relief there, though it was not too long before she sang her last song. As i was saying, her fans were still hanging around, screaming out her name, stamping ground, making noises, wishing tht a miracle will happen. Everytime band members came out 2 take their stuff, fans wld think tht they were gonna give an encore, clapping & shouting in jubilation, when in fact, they were jus out 2 collect their stuff. They even waved frantically, indirectly telling us tht they weren't out 2 give an encore. They were actually quite afraid 2 come out since they didn't wanna mislead us. It was quite a funny scene, come 2 think abt it. It was until one of band members, who signed 2 us, telling us tht she's actually left stadium, tht i finally relented & left my seat 2 head for exit. Frm here, you cld actually see how reluctant i was 2 leave.

Before i end tis entry, another disappointment tht i forgot 2 mention, is abt audience in general. I dunno whether it's becauz they are generally older or more mature people, but they weren't really tht happening as i expected. They were pretty boring i wld say, if i was singer. Nobody actually stood up during her rock songs or even sang along with her, which was pretty sad. It may show tht her fans aren't youngsters anymore but are more matured, or tht her fans hve greatly reduced over yrs. Or mayb audience jus wanna listen 2 her beautiful voice, instd of interrupting. Or mayb Singapore's audiences are generally like tht, glued 2 their seats.

Nevertheless, i really didn't regret paying so much for it, though i did think abt whether there's a need 2 buy such good seats nxt time, if i were there 2 listen 2 her voice mainly. I mean she's not really a person who dances alot tht i hafta see her perform. Instd it's her voice tht attracts me more, if i hafta say. Tht's something for me 2 consider abt nxt time, though i dunno when nxt time will be. In conclusion, jus wanna say tht it's really a fantastic, brilliant, excellent concert for me & tht she can really sing live, haha. Actually, there's more tht i wanna say, cauz i suddenly remembered abt them, but i shan't add on to tis entry. Will do so in nxt entry i suppose. In meantime, i'm signing out, AdiOs & CiAoZzzz.....
