A night out...

A night view of CBD area
A night view of CBD area

Well photo seems alright only, pretty blur if i hafta say. Guess i hve 2 read more on functions of my digi-cam, otherwise all my pictures wld turn out normal only. Give me some time & i'll try to figure out how 2 make my pictures a little more outstanding & special, tht is if i'm hardworking enough. In meantime, you can view photos i've taken yesterday as well as those taken on my birthday at link beside, under photos section. Anyway went out with Chua Brudders yesterday 2 look for elder's girlfriend Anniversary + X'mas gift. Shan't really mention wat he's planning to buy since, who knws, somebody who knws her might read my blog & tell her abt it. All i can say is tht he bought 1 of 2 intended gifts, which i think it's pretty nice. As 4 other, Zongyao & i told him 2 consider 1st since it wld be quite expensive if he were 2 add prices of 2 together. But it's very nice too, hehe. Seems like i can't get away frm getting presents, frm getting my frens' presents all way 2 getting other's girlfriends presents. Actually it's ok larhz since i need 2 shop for my New Year's clothes soon, so can take a look around, see wat's nice.

Basically jus walked entire Orchard in search of presents wth them. Had dinner at Pasta Fresca, where i ordered a cream base pasta, which tasted quite alright. Headed down 2 Esplanade 2 take some photographs, afterwhich we headed home. Really hve 2 figure out how 2 take pictures wth bright backgrounds. It's like if i use flash, bright background will turn out blurred. If i don't use flash, background will turn out quite fine, but person cldn't be seen at all. One reason cld be becauz of poor lighting there, but i'm sure there's a way for my digi-cam 2 take photographs at such places. Hafta go figure it out. Hve been bringing my camera along wth me on weekends, wherever i go, 2 make full use of it. One disadvantage wld be tht i'll hafta bring a bag alg since my camera isn't tht slim as those compact ones. Nevertheless, i don't really mind at all, honestly speaking. Feels quite paiseh 2 take photos at times, esp photos of food tht i'm eating. Am afraid tht othrs will see & tht restaurant wldn't allow. Shall pick up courage 2 try another time.

Guard Duty on Fri was sucky since Guard Commander was super naggy, lor-so, apple-polisher & timid aka "ham ji" (pronounced in Hokkien). I've never seen such a naggy Guard Com before, so much so tht he even bothers 2 tell us abt personal hygiene, sleeping wth our socks on provided tht our socks won't stink, etc. I mean i'm performing Guard Duty, all you need 2 tell me is things related 2 security of camp instd of things like personal hygiene etc. I knw you are concerned but for God's sake we are all mature 2 think of such things ourselves right, at least most of us. In addition 2 tht, he's a person who sucks up 2 his superiors frm my point of view. It's like when he speaks 2 us, he acts as if he's boss, ordering us 2 do tis & tht. But when he speaks 2 his superiors, he'll be like 2 timid mouse/ servant, nodding at watever his superiors says. Hate these type of people, who try 2 be so "wayang" in front of others.

Oh and he made us wake up at 0530 for nothing, actually more applicable for rest. He made me do clearing of rubbish & waiting at gate for those who came early b4 gate was opened, while others woke up for practically nothing. I was being arrowed 2 to tis & tht for entire night, cauz i'm a jus a bloody private. He was still saying night b4 tht he'll prevent othrs frm bullying me (another long story which i shan't mention). Instd i was bullied by him. So bloody pissed off wth him. Jus praying tht i won't get such a Guard Com again.

After Guard Duty, had 2 rush 2 go for family day event at some place called Farmart (pronounced as "farm-mart") @ Choa Chu Kang. It was practically a boring trip since it was drizzling through out & mayb cauz i was tired. But honestly speaking, didn't knw tht such a place exists. It has many stores selling different types of stuff. There's a pet shop wth those cute puppies tht i can't stop looking at, quite a few fish shops, shops selling plants, a shop selling honey related stuff wth a mini bee-farm behind, etc. Got 2 see an enormous bee-hive frm Thailand tht was under preservation (there weren't any bees in it, they jus wanted 2 show us how a bee-hive looks like & how big it can be). Too bad i didn't bring my digi-cam alg, otherwise wld hve been able 2 take pictures for you 2 see. Headed home straight after tht 2 take a rest b4 heading out 2 meet Chua Brudders. Wowww, such a long entry, jus realised tht. Shall end here & update later tonight on some thoughts tht had yesterday. CiAoz!!!
