Chiong
Parade on Sat was pretty nerve wrecking, since VIPs were really close 2 marching contingents tis time round. I was very nervous as my contingent entered parade square, all way till parade finally ended. Was quite disappointed tht we didn't perform really well during march past. We were marching 2 our own timings instd of everyone marching together, like we were supposed 2. Guess we were only contingent who committed tis mistake, which makes it even more embarrassing. Nevertheless, it's over & there's nothing much i can do abt it.

Hvnt got chance 2 watch Return Of The King yet, since we cldn't get tickets. Went to PS to check whether there were any tickets available & while i was queueing up, they made tis announcement:"Dear Customers, for Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King, shows frm now (which was around 1600+ hrs) all way till 11pm, hve only 1st row seats available." Once i heard tht, i stopped queueing & tried going 2 other cinemas. Unfortunately, still cldn't get any tickets wth proper seatings

I dunno why but it was damn crowded in town tht day. Everywhere i went, there were practically human traffic jams. Especially at linkway btwn Wisma Atria & Takashimaya. It was so darn crowded tht people had 2 squeeze with each other & it took quite some time before i cld finally walk at my normal speed. Mayb it's becauz of rain, causing people 2 hide indoors. Sometimes, come 2 think abt it, Singapore is jus too small, it's like there' s only one place 2 shop tht kinda thing, only one place where everyone cld go 2 during their weekends. Due 2 large amt of crowds in town, Gavin decided 2 change meeting venue 2 Marina Area, which was much better. At least it's more spacious there & there's no narrow linkways like those in town to cause any human traffice jams.

 chiong-ing night
Tht Saturday Night

Had dinner at Kenny Rogers, which was super duper filling, so much so tht i cldn't finish my corn muffin. meal was really wothwhile, $13.50 for a soup, a quarter chicken wth 2 side dishes, a corn muffin & a drink. Wat more can i ask for? Instd of walking around aimlessly & heading home early due 2 fact we had nothing to do, we decided 2 go chiong at Sultan Of Swings (S.O.S) at Central Mall as suggested by Gavin. Gavin had wanted 2 try chionging together for quite some time already, but cldn't get chance to. Generally, it was a much better place than Zouk, in terms of crowd, space & music. It wasn't as crowded as Zouk, i was still able 2 hve a space of my own while i was dancing. A much bigger place than Zouk & music was more 2 my liking, more able 2 relate to if i hafta say. only thing tht it loses out 2 Zouk, as wat my fren told me, is it's drinks. If i were 2 compare free drink tht accompanies wth your entry ticket, Zouk's was much alcoholic as compared 2 tht of S.O.S's. S.O.S's tasted more like coke, hehe. But can't really compare since price there was much cheaper, if i'm not wrong

Mayb i shld take back my word abt not liking 2 chiong, cauz i realise tht i really love 2 dance. I dance till i perspired & had 2 take a rest before continuing. music there was more R&B & Pop, which i was able 2 relate 2. H/e part where they wanted 2 introduce a new song when previous one was abt 2 end, was pretty sucky i must say. Overall i enjoyed much more as compared 2 my 1st time at Zouk, which totally sucked. But don't think i'll chiong tht often though i love dancing alot, since it's pretty unhealthy. 1stly, it's smoke tht you breathe in while you are in there. 2ndly, wld be loud music tht you are exposed to. Prolong exposure 2 it may deafened your ears. Too much alcohol isn't really good too. Left at an ungodly hr of 3.15am in morning, with my ears feeling a little deafened by loud music & my body reeking of alcohol & smell of cigarettes. Really wanted 2 jus head 2 my bed immediately without bathing, cauz i was really very tired after dancing for like 3hrs. But cldn't stand stickiness of my body, hence took a quick shower before finally lying on my bed 2 sleep. You can view photos here. Oh almost forgot 2 tell ya peeps tht some of pics can't be seen & i really hve no idea why. I'm praying tht it's some server error or sth like tht cauz i tried uploading it a few times but it still doesn't turn out. Hopefully you peeps will be able 2 see it tmr or sth.

Here's something tht is dedicated 2 one of my very very good pals, Gavin.

Gavin's Personal Collage
Gavin's Xie3 Zhen1 Ji2

reason for tis: He was taking pictures of himself for almost entire night. All these pictures of him already take up 1/3 of all pics i took tht night. At times he even used my camera as a mirror 2 look at his own face. I felt tht my camera was his instead, haha. If you peeps did notice, his friendster photos seems 2 be changing every week. So guess when he has nothing to do at home, he takes pictures of himself, haha. Jus joking wth ya Gavin, don't take it to heart alright? Haha. Fortunately, he looks good in photos, otherwise...
