Overload
Wow, jus realise tht i hvn't been updating for quite some time already. It's not tht i'm busy or anything, it's jus tht sometimes you feel so lazy tht you don't wanna type anything. Think i've said tht b4 in one of my previous entries. And as a result, you kinda accumulate alot of stuff tht you wanna say & instd of posting short entries, you post longer entries once in a while, which means more typing. Finally decided to post something b4 i accumulate too much stuff & post a super duper long entry.
Nothing special going on in my life currently, still � same i guess, buzzing ard on weekends & going back 2 work on weekdays. Went to take a look at the Subaru Impreza Challenge held at Ngee Ann City on Sat night, � one where people place their hands on � car & � last one standing wins � car. Got 2 see a few of Mediacorp Artistes there like Jean Danker, Daniel Ong, Vincent Ng & � female star search winner, forgot her name. Think tht it's quite interesting, it tests your endurance & mental strength. Seeing those peeps rushing 2 do watever they cld during their 5 mins break after evry 12 hrs, on TV, was a pretty funny scene. One of my seniors in camp went for it but he denies to it when i asked him abt it, guess he doesn't wnt 2 let others knw tht he's going for it, haha. Was joking wth my fren tht most prob a Malay wld win � contest since thy were fasting during tis period of time, which means tht during their breaks they cld do other stuff other than eating.
I really can't stand for long periods of time anymore, unlike last time where even though i am flat-footed, i cld stand for pretty long hrs. But after i sprained my ankle, it has been giving me probs esp after long hrs of standing in � workshop & during parades. Recently it got worst as i've been attending parade rehearsals, standing for long hrs under � sun & for today, in � rain. On � bright side though, i got a good but uneven tan which i'm pretty happy abt. Hopefully i get 2 head 2 � pool sometime soon 2 tan my body as well.
14 GPMGs came in yesterday for take-in repair, � most i've seen so far. I was very shock initially, seeing those MGs outside waiting for us 2 take them in 2 repair. I was in awe i tell ya, kept thinking whether we cld manage them or not. When there's only like 1 or 2 wpns, we newbirds wld like repair different parts of it. Now wth those 14 MGs, i guess we'll hafta be more independent & repair 1 MG per person. Think it's time we grow up, if you get wat i mean.
Once again, i hafta complain abt GUARD DUTIES again. For tis mth, i will be doing one weekend duty + 2 weekday duties, which is equivalent to 4 weekday duties since 1 weekend duty = 2 weekday duties. Really hate � idea of doing Guard Duties, it's like � worst thing in my entire NS life, at least for now. Heard tht � company whose involve in � project, has finished it & there might not be tht many duties frm nxt mth onwards. Hopefully it's really true cauz i really don't wanna be haunted by Guard Duties for my entire NS life. Tht's abt it for now, hve a few thoughts tht i wanted 2 type abt, but think i shall do it on my nxt entry instd.
