Wow, jus realised tht it's been a pretty long time since i've posted an entry. Not tht i'm busy, jus tht it's been a tiring week for me & i'm too tired 2 post anything. Besides, my Bro has been bringing his frens over, hogging onto � com playing C & C. Alright, jus let me update you peeps on wat's going on.

Well i'm a little more tanned now after standing in � sun for a few hrs 4 � parade rehearsal. But suffering frm � side effects right now, my skin's peeling off slowly & my body's temperature seems 2 be higher than normal. Guess it's becauz i've not sun tanned for a period of time now, tht's why i get sun burn easily. Tht aside, hvn't been doing anything in camp for last wk. There weren't any wpns coming in which was pretty slack except for � occasional "Sai Kang" tht we had 2 do. Had a Company Cohesion Night on Thurs 2 celebrate � Heavy Arms side for passing out all their guns & a Battalion Happy Hour on Fri. This meant tht we were forced 2 stay back, which also meant tht i got home late, esp on Fri since i helped out my camp mates in clearing up � area. Celebrated Gavin's birthday on Sat. It was a more toned down & mellow celebration as compared 2 last time. There's less pple & we didn't do much. I suppose as age catches up on us, � celebration is of less hype wth fewer pple ard. Nevertheless, it's still pretty enjoyable jus tht everyone seems a little tired.

Had dinner at Spagheddies @ Paragon Extension, which i thought was pretty nice. Ordered their Chicken Scallopini(think tht's � name if i'm not mistaken), which tasted a little bit like Carbonara w/o � egg yolk. It was pretty filling as well, wth 3 big slices of chicken. Oh forgot 2 mention tht we saw Aileen Tan wth her family. She wasn't really wearing any make-up, which makes her look pretty old though she's really old. Seems like i've been seeing stars pretty frequently tis few wks.

After much consideration, decided 2 buy Gavin a small cake frm Angie's Choice, since he said tht a birthday w/o a cake wld be pretty inauspicious or sth like tht. Had it at Lido, which was pretty nice, not as sweet as othr cakes found in � mkt. Had a great time chit chatting wth each othr, b4 deciding 2 watch The Rundown, which was a total flop. I was pretty tired after waking up 0515hrs in � morning for tht stupid parade rehearsal, hence i slept for � 1st quarter of � movie b4 Gavin nudged me & ticked me off a little. H/e, he was so tired himself tht he fell aslp for � last half of � movie, even worst off than me, haha. But i guess he was really really very tired, frm his looks as well as how unwilling he was 2 let us go 2 his house, citing � reason tht he needed 2 get some serious rest. Well guess going 2 � bridging unit is really tht xiong huh?

Forgot 2 mention abt sth tht happened tht night which kinda made me feel uneasy & uncomfortable. Since it was like an hr b4 our movie begins, they decided 2 head down 2 Orchard Towers 2 hve a look at � night scene there. I've seen it b4 during my days at Rocky Masters, those tranvestites, hookers & foreigners who never fail 2 visit this place each night. Initially i thought they jus wanted 2 take a walk outside 2 hve a look & tht's it. H/e, Lionel started 2 head inside, bringing us closer 2 � pubs. I was in total shock cauz i nvr wanted 2 step into a place like tht. I had no choice but 2 follow since most of them were already following him inside. I really didn't like tht place & all i cld think of was 2 get out of it asap. It wasn't some place tht i wld go 2 but i hve 2 admit tht it was an eye opener, seeing wat really goes on inside. There are bar gals standing near � escalators trying 2 bring in as many customers as possible wth their looks. There were some who look absolutely disgusting but were dressed skimpily nevertheless. Saw tis guy who was holding � hands of 2 gals, leading them 2 � taxi stands. Wonder where they were heading to...Tis was practically � scene there, i guess.

Mayb it's becauz i'm not exposed 2 such scenes, tht's why � freak out as well as � awkward feelings. But if given a chance, i wld nvr wnt 2 step into such a place again. It's really pretty complicated. Wonder whether � clubbing scene wld be � same or wld it be less complicated? Think i'll find out tis Fri where i'll be heading 2 Zouk wth my camp mates. Really wonder wat it's like down there, whether i'll like it & enjoy it. Guess it's time for me 2 explore.
