Yupz, Singapore's 38 already. Quite young as compared 2 China, haha. Was watching NDP jus now, & was reminded of � time i participated in it as an SJAB member during my sec sch days. I felt really proud & honoured 2 be part of � NDP, though i played only a minor role in it. It was kinda like a once in a lifetime thingy. � atmosphere at � moment was really overwhelming & touching. Thousands of people involved in celebrating somebody's birthday, it's really a big event man. Honestly speaking, sometimes while i'm watching NDPs, it makes me really proud 2 be a Singaporean, no matter how much i complain abt � Govt making NS compulsory for all men, � education system, � lack of amusement parks, � lack of places 2 go etc, as well as touched. Think abt it, you are living in a country tht is free frm natural disasters, free frm war, free frm riots & terrorist attacks, etc. It's kinda difficult 2 find such a place man. It's a place where all my memories are, a place where i live & definitely a place call home. Sounds really clich� right? Like one of � national day songs or sth like tht right? Hahaz.

Didn't do anything much 2day, jus went out 4 lunch wth Alison & Huiting. It's been a long time since i've met them. Alison looks � same jus tht her hair is now longer. As 4 Huiting, it's still her, not much change, except tht she owns a cute little digital camera now, haha. Went 2 Swensens & ordered their Crayfish Pasta, which wasn't really nice cauz it's Crayfish wasn't really fresh & it seemed like it was prepared ages ago since it wasn't hot. Walked around wth them b4 they headed for NDP, while i joined my Mum & 2 Aunts for Coffee, since my frens weren't free or out in town. Had their Boston Nut Brownie Cake again + their White Chocolate Dream, which wasn't really tht good. Walked around wth them again, afterwhich i decided 2 go home 1st, since i was pretty bored & didn't really hve � mood 2 walk ard as well. Skipped dinner as well cauz didn't hve � apetite at all. Reached home & watched NDP + Lost World throughout � entire night, which i felt tht i've wasted � long weekend.

Forgot 2 update u peeps on my Guard Duty on Thurs. It was pretty slack considering � amt of time i slept throughout. There wasn't any prowling, which i thought they wld hve cauz of � Jakarta bombing, only sentry duties during � day + desktop duties. Was kinda pissed off wth a female officer, due 2 � fact tht me & another guy was being complained due 2 us not greeting her as she left & entered � camp. It wasn't really our fault, since she was sitting in a postion which we cldn't really see due 2 � reflection of � bright sun on � car windows. Besides, don't understand why she's so particular abt greeting her when many other male higher ranking officers don't seem 2 mind abt it at all. So wat if she's a Lieutenant, big deal. Sianz, still got one more Guard Duty tis month, which falls on a Sunday. Think it'll be even more boring then a weekday one. Haiz, jus hate Guard Duties. Oh, think i'll be buying a new computer or shld i say a new CPU tomorrow. Finally, my bro has decided 2 buy it after mths of consideration. Won't be buying Dell, will be buy those D.I.Y ones frm Sim Lim instead, jus tht we won't be fixing it ourselves i suppose. Hopefully we won't get cheated & � combination of � parts doesn't cause it 2 crash or sth like tht. His fren will be bringing us there, since my bro says tht he's more experienced in this. Really can't wait for it man......
