Think tht tis show is really very nice, heartwarming & touching as well, made me teared during today's episode. I think it is close 2 � heart in � sense tht it depicts a Singaporean style of life & reflects wat is happening in our country. To me, � actors & actresses tht make up tis show plays a very important part in making � show a success, besides it's scripts & othr stuff. I consider shows nice, if � actors or actresses in � show can make me hate, love, sympathise wth, pity etc their characters in � show. This shows tht their acting skills are pretty good, for eg. in tis show, i personally think tht Ou Xuan (Jing Jing), Chen Liping & Xie Shaoguang acted really well. Hve 2 give credit 2 Cynthia Koh as well, for making me hate her character in � show.

Guard Duties seems 2 be causing alot of problems in my camp. It's like we trainees are on course there, wth half of � platoon going 2 units after their course ends, while � othr half wld be staying at � camp or wat we call base. So my instructor told us many times tht during our free time, especially those who will be going 2 units since they won't really get 2 practise anymore once they reach their respective units, when we aren't doing sentry or desktop duties, we are suppose 2 report back for lessons. Initially there wasn't any big problems, h/e due 2 � recent Jakarta bombings, security was raised & we were told tht we don't hve 2 report back for lessons. For � past 2 days, my instructor wasn't around so those tht went for Guard Duty didn't come back for lessons, as they were told to. But when my instructor came back 2dy, he was furious when he got 2 knw tht those tht were doing Guard Duty didn't report back for lessons. He gave us a scolding which i think is pretty unreasonable cauz we were told tht we don't hve 2 attend lessons. Besides tht, he was so furious tht he almost quarrelled wth � Sergeant Major, someone who is in charge of � discipline matters & other miscellaneous stuff there, right in front of us. Really think they shldn't hve made us do Guard Duties there, if they don't want us 2 miss lessons. In tht case, there won't be any problems at all. � Sergeant Major was pretty innocent as well cauz he was merely carrying out orders by another higher ranking officer in � camp. Think we trainees are � most innocent ones, got scolding for nothing, even if we followed instructions given by any higher ranking officers. Wat 2 do, we aren't called trainees for nothing u knw.

Life is just so unfair.
