Yup tht's right, no need 2 wake up at 0515hrs & reaching home at 1900hrs. Due 2 � short travelling distance, i can now wake up at 0545hrs & reach hom at abt 1835hrs. Isn't tht great? But being a lifeless person, don't think i'll be making full use of it right now, as in going out & stuff, since most of my frens are in camp. Will consider taking driving lessons after my course period is over which will be around Sept. This is to prevent me frm suffering an overload information in terms of driving as well as � things i hve 2 learn in NS. Besides, i'm in no rush so can take my own sweet time in tht sense. � new place is quite alright & are making full use of our time there right now, since we hve things to do as compared 2 when we were at � previous place. � only thing tht i miss wld be � air-con room tht we hve while we were at � old place, allowing us 2 relax during our breaks or take a nap during lunch time break. Need 2 run 4.8km tomorrow, which i think it's pretty tough on me since � longest distance i've run is X-country, which i don't really remember wat � distance is. In addition, their runs are in � morning which means tht u can get pretty restless or tired as u work thru � afternoon. Oh well, we'll see how it goes.

Decided 2 take � Crumbler Bag off my list of things tht i wld like 2 buy, cauz i think tht bag is pretty common & really too expensive. Don't think it's worth � money 2 buy a bag tht can't really put many stuff. Finally bought Zongyao's present after like 1 mth or so. Bought him an earphone since he was searching for one while we were out � other day. Am into � 3rd book of Harry Potter, must say tht reading � 1st 2 is pretty exciting cauz it reminds u of � scenes frm � movie. Am considering whether i shld buy � 5th book after reading � 1st 4. Oh forgot 2 tell u peeps abt something tht happened 2 my class yesterday. There was this fellow who was unhappy abt being made fun of in class. So to take revenge, he added some laxatives 2 their water bottles during our break when nobody was around. To make it less obvious, he applied a layer of soap on � rim of � water bottle, so as 2 make them think tht they were drinking soap water by accident, to make them less suspicious in other words. H/e, they found out abt it but didn't knw who did it & kinda complained 2 one of our officers. � officer then make a big fuss out of it, resulting in � higher ranking people 2 knw abt it. � officer-in-command for my wing came 2 our class & asked � culprit to own up, which tht guy did in � end.

To me, i think it's really childish & mean 2 do such a thing. I mean if u r unhappy, u can jus tell them straight in their faces or complain 2 � officers, letting them knw abt � situation. There's certainly no need to harm them in such a way. � officer who created a big fuss out of it, shldn't hve told those higher ranking officers abt it as well. Jus keep it within our class & settle it ourselves, cauz it mayb done out of fun w/o any evil intentions. Hence, if � high ranking officers decided 2 charge tht guy as a result of his playfulness, tht guy's future mayb ruined. Think tht sometimes we shldn't provoke others for no reason, cauz u will never knw when u hve hit their limits & wat they may do in return. � mouth can be pretty vicious thing when u let it loose, allowing it 2 criticise or make fun of others continuously, w/o thinking abt how � other party feels. I've also realised tht u really can't mess wth � Army cauz sometimes a little mistake tht u make, can really land u in deep shit as a result. Jus follow � instructions & rules & regulations, and ur 2 1/2 yrs of NS life wld be smooth sailing. Gotta go now, NiGht!!
